Dr. Jain has extensive professional experience across numerous hospitals worldwide, holding key roles and pioneering original surgical techniques. He is highly regarded as a teacher, researcher, and administrator at prestigious institutions in India and beyond. Dr. V. K Jain serves as the senior director of neurosurgery and spine surgery at Max Hospitals in Delhi and NCR. Graduating with an MBBS from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow in 1974, he went on to earn his master’s degree in neurosurgery from the National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS) Bangalore in 1981. Dr. Jain’s career includes significant contributions at institutions such as Sanjaya Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He has also held academic positions abroad, including as a special associate professor at Fujita Health University, Nagoya, Japan. Dr. Jain’s expertise is recognized internationally through his role as an examiner for the National Board of Examinations (DNB) and as a visiting professor at various neurosurgery departments worldwide. He has trained numerous neurosurgeons and presented research at national and international conferences, in addition to serving on the editorial board of esteemed journals like Spine.
