Dr. Srikant Sharma, the Founder & Director of Anandam Psychiatry Centre, is a Consultant Psychiatrist & Psychotherapist located in New Delhi. He has vast experience in assessing and treating clients from around the globe. Dr. Sharma values the uniqueness of each individual and works diligently with them to achieve a healthy state of mind. His passion for the medical field began when he scored a perfect 100 in Biology in the CBSE XII Board exams, earning him a scholarship from the Government of India. He graduated from Sawai Maan Singh Medical College & Attached hospitals in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where he was recognized as the Best Student of the year – Mr. SMS, 2005. Following this, he completed his Postgraduate Training (MD – Psychiatry) at the prestigious Centre of Excellence in Mental Health, PGIMER, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Sharma further honed his Clinical & Research skills during his 3-year tenure at the institute, specializing in General Adult Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry / Geriatric Psychiatry, De-Addiction, Sexual Medicine, and other areas. He is an accomplished speaker at National & International Conferences, where he presents his work in the field of Neuropsychiatry and has received accolades for his contributions. Dr. Sharma actively raises awareness about mental health issues through various media channels and participates in camps and workshops organized by government bodies such as the Ministry of Health, IGNOU, and the Red Cross Society. He also conducts training workshops at Corporate Houses like Convergys. His research findings have been published in numerous national and international journals. Dr. Sharma is a dedicated member of National & International Organizations related to Neuropsychiatry and strongly advocates for Consultation Liasion Psychiatry. He has led a team of Mental Health Experts under the Ministry of Health in 2016, India, and also spearheaded a team for a 15-day camp in Uttarakhand in 2013, providing assistance to flood disaster victims.
