He received special training from Prof. Mario Sana at Gruppo Otologica in Piacenza, Italy. Additionally, he has undergone training at Singapore General Hospital for snoring & sleep apnea treatment. Dr. Mrig is known for pioneering the technique of binaural cochlear implantation in India, with his team successfully performing India’s first binaural cochlear implant at Primus Hospital. With over 5000 surgeries in the field of ENT under his belt, Dr. Mrig has a wealth of experience and academic achievements. He serves as a reviewer for international ENT journals and has numerous international publications. Furthermore, he authored a temporal bone dissection manual for the training of ENT surgeons.
