Dr. T. Elangovan obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Dr. MGR Medical University in Chennai and specialized in oral and maxillofacial pathology at Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Research Institute from 2001 to 2004, where he earned his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) from Sri Ramachandra University. Following his master’s degree, Dr. Elangovan pursued a post-doctoral program at Annamalai University, achieving a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Laws and Ethics. Throughout his academic journey, he has consistently set records and has presented numerous scientific papers, receiving accolades at both national and international forums.
Dr. T. Elangovan has contributed extensively to medical and dental literature, publishing various articles and authoring chapters on oral diseases for dermatopathology textbooks. He currently serves as a professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital and is affiliated with several universities in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. With a distinctive teaching approach that emphasizes the practical aspects of oral pathology, he also maintains a full-time private practice, dedicated to achieving excellence in clinical dentistry and delivering optimal care to his patients.
