Before his tenure at SIMS Hospital, Dr. V R Roopesh Kumarserved as the head of the Department of Neurosurgery at JIPMER, where he was instrumental in establishing a fully equipped Neurosurgery ICU, a Neuro Trauma ICU, and advanced facilities for the management of complex neurosurgical procedures.
Dr. V R Roopesh Kumar has been invited to speak at numerous national and international conferences, sharing his expertise through lectures both in India and overseas. Additionally, he has organized a variety of conferences, surgical workshops, cadaver workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) events. Notably, he performed the first pediatric awake craniotomy in the country.
