Dr. V. Rajesh earned his M.S. in General Surgery from JIPMER, Pondicherry. He then pursued specialized training in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at GB Pant Hospital, affiliated with Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, completing this program in 2006. He has worked in high-volume medical centers both in India and abroad, participating in over 8,000 cardiac surgeries. Following his cardiac surgery training, Dr. Rajesh served as a Junior Consultant at Frontier Lifeline Hospital under the esteemed Dr. K. M. Cherian.
He also held the position of Overseas Fellow in both adult and pediatric cardiac surgery at Westmead Children’s Hospital and the adult hospital. After two years as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre in Chennai, he took on the role of Chief Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Bharathirajaa Specialty Hospital.
Dr. V. Rajesh possesses extensive expertise across the full range of Cardiothoracic surgery, including beating heart coronary bypass, valve replacements and repairs, congenital heart surgery, aortic surgery, and thoracic procedures, all with a remarkable success rate of 100%. He has contributed to the field through numerous publications in both national and international journals and has presented his research at various national conferences.
