Dr. Utkarsha Lokesh is a highly accomplished Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist. He obtained his masters (MDS) from Bapuji Dental College, Davanagere in 2001 and completed his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) from Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, in 2005. What sets him apart is that he is one of the very few Maxillofacial Surgeons who holds both an MDS and DNB degree. Currently, he serves as the professor and head of the department in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at S.R Dental College & Hospital, Bangalore.
With over 18 years of experience, Dr. Lokesh is not only a skilled clinician and Implantologist but also a dedicated academician. He actively participates in the training of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Throughout his career, he has worked in various hospitals and dental centers in the United Kingdom, incorporating the best practices of western professionalism while maintaining the expertise of Indian dentistry.

In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Dr. Utkarsha Lokesh serves as a consultant Facio-Maxillary Surgeon at renowned hospitals such as Apollo Hospital, Fortis Hospitals, Narayanahrudayalaya, Panacea Hospitals, and Chord Road Hospitals. His professional achievements include being an executive committee member of the Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) and the Karnataka State Dental Council (KSDC). He is also a Vice President of the IDA Bangalore Branch and an executive committee member of the IDA Karnataka State Branch. Dr. Lokesh is a life member of AOMSI, Indian Society of Oral Implantology (ISOI), and IDA (Indian Dental Association).
